Leadership in Action

Objectives: At the end of this course, participants will have:

  • Improved leadership skills through knowing impact of actions on others

  • Greater ability to analyze business situations clearly

  • Improved communication skills through giving and receiving feedback

Duration: Three days

Program Format: Pre-work includes a 360º-assessment on the 6 strategic leadership skills our original research has shown to differentiate top level executives from successful middle level managers. The program starts with a discussion of these leadership skills and current management theories and how to apply them to specific workplace situations.

The core of the program is an interactive business simulation using copyrighted materials. Experienced facilitators – one for every seven participants – help participants choose an executive role and practice new leadership behaviors. Systematic feedback is provided to each participant on leadership style, impact on others and effect on the scenario company’s climate and performance.
